En fait, il s'agit d'une reprise de projet...

Concernant les travaux entrepris :

Le Projet

Nous avons entrepris (nous avons sans doute été trop ambitieux) une rénovation complète du bateau (en gardant uniquement les 2 plis de bois de la coque), notamment quand nous nous sommes aperçus de problèmes structurels du bateau (pièce de quille fendue notamment). Aujourd'hui, avec l'arrivée des enfants et nos emplois du temps chargés, nous n'arrivons plus à avancer comme il le faudrait : notre projet de restauration est au point mort depuis 3 ans et nous ne voyons pas de perspective à moyen terme. ll nous est cependant inenvisageable de laisser périr ce bateau auquel nous sommes très attachés et nous réfléchissons donc à une solution pour que ce bateau puisse re-naviguer un jour. Le transmettre à quelqu'un de passionné qui aurait le temps et l'envie de terminer les travaux que nous avons entrepris nous paraît être la solution la plus adaptée.

Ce qui a été fait:
Nous avons mis le bateau intégralement à nu (dépontage, démontage de l'ensemble de l'intérieur jusqu'aux varrangues, cloisons, longerons, etc...), et fait les réparations de coque à l'intérieur (il y avait des plis de bois moulé qui étaient en mauvais état, nous avons tout repris, pli par pli, pour finalement obtenir une surface saine).

Ce qu'il reste à faire:
Il faut partir du principe que c'est une construction neuve à partir d'une coque. Il y a encore un peu de travail de bois moulé qu'il faudra faire par l'extérieur (on pourrait tout expliquer et tout documenter pour le repreneur) puis deux options pour consolider :

- remettre un pli de bois moulé par l'intérieur (car la coque était vraiment light à l'origine : à peine 12mm d'épaisseur en red cedar), c'est la solution que nous avions retenue pour l'aspect esthétique. Nous avons le bois pour le faire (Acajou en placage).
- Se servir de la coque d'origine comme âme de sandwich et faire deux plis de strat intérieur, et extérieur. Cette option est la plus simple et rapide.

A noter que nous avons fondu le lest et vendu le gréement car nous avions prévu de faire dessiner un nouvel ensemble (type Mark Mills). Nous avons en revanche le safran (que nous avions acheté neuf de série puis adapté à la forme de coque), et le moteur.
Nous avons également gardé le roof d'origine pour le refaire à l'identique et fait un moule du tableau arrière.

Le bateau est dans un conformateur en mécano-soudé sur roulettes.

One of the fastest boats in the whole half ton fleet is for sale. As the 2023 and 2024 winner of the main Norwegian national event ¨Hankø Race Week” with the series of 1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1 in 2023, and second in the HTCC 2023, the boat has proved to be very competitive. With the simple sail setup of only one headsail and one spinnaker it will benefit even more under the 2025 IRC-rules.
Drawn by Phillipe Briand and first splashed in spring 1985. Rebuild in 2020 to modern configuration with new Yanmar engine moved backwards, new mast, new keel and rudder designed by Mark Mills. The sail inventory consists of a main, a headsail and two spinnakers, Hyde sails 2021 and a jib top, Evolution sails 2023. For training there is a set of slightly bigger sails from Hyde sails 2019. The 2024 IRC-rating is 0.943.
The on-board electronics consists of a Garmin chartplotter, wireless wind instruments with two mast displays, and a VHF. The boat comes with a legal road trailer. Rampage has been stored indoors in a heated environment during the winters.
Asking price is 41.000,- Euro.
The boat has both EU and Norwegian VAT paid.

Je vends mon Starlight, voilier de 9m (ancien halftonner), stocké au port à sec depuis 5ans.
Des travaux sont à prévoir avant de le faire naviguer, dont les plus gros:

Il est très marin. Plutôt aménagé pour la régate, pas de WC ni de cuisine.

I know Canada is a long way, but I thought I would give it a try. The Half Ton Class hasn’t made a resurgence in North America as it has in Europe.
Owl’s prototype “Toy Boat” won Boat of the Year in Chicago, with a perfect score and won the Half Ton North Americans twice in early 1980’s.
